Tower House- Peter Gluck Location: Upstate New York Built in 2012, the tower house is a tall building meant to reach above the tall trees of the forest. It is a vacation home with a small carbon footprint meant to not disturb the nature of the forest. All the bedrooms are on the bottom while the living spaces are on the elongated top floor. From the top floor you can see the nearby lake and mountain. House’s design is modern inside and out and has a lot of windows. Peter Gluck is the founder of Gluck+ which has made bold and innovate architecture for more than 40 years. Gluck’s firm has had many projects through the U.S. like houses, schools, and hotels. For example, the Bridge Project, the Duke University Marine Laboratory, and The House in the Mountains.
